  • Synopsis: Last of the Red Hot Lovers is one of the most amusing of Neil Simon’s comedies. It focuses on Barney Cashman, a forty-seven-year-old owner of a seafood restaurant who is afraid that the sexual revolution of the 1960s is passing him by. Over the space of nine months, he invites three different women to his mother’s Manhattan apartment in an attempt to have an afternoon of extramarital sex.  Rated PG-13

  • Auditions: Sunday and Monday, Nov 19 and 20; Theatre doors will open for sign-in at 6:30 p.m. Auditions will include readings from the script and some improv and/or miming. “The actors need to be able to use their body language as well as their mouths,” said SueEllen.
  • Roles for Adults only: One (1) man (must appear late 40s-50s) and three (3) women (each must appear in her 20s, 30s or 50s).
  • Rehearsals beginning Monday, Nov 27: Performance dates will be Feb 16, 17, 18 (matinee), 23 and 24, 2018. Rehearsals will begin after Thanksgiving and break during the Christmas holidays; rehearsals will be three evenings a week for the man and one evening a week for the women until mid-January when the entire cast will rehearse three evenings a week.
